Apparently my sense of self-preservation only goes so far with Supernatural. Bolstered by 5x13, I finally did the 5x10 rewatch.

<3<3<3 Even when I'm feeling, uh, protective (ahaha, Jensen) of the show, I know how hard they work, this cast and crew are incredibly talented and I love their willingness to take chances, and this show has given me a crazy number of hours of happy, despite its shortcomings.

When you add in the warm-hearted, sweet, funny, crazy-in-the-best-way, talented people who are in my life because of the fandom for this show, and the fanworks, the whole thing isn't even quantifiable. ♥

Yeah, I'm sure I'll rant about the show again at some point. Enjoy the shmoop while it lasts. *G*

+found via novembersguest, this is an intense, beautifully edited Bela and Dean/Bela vid by killjoykitten on youtube (set to another Florence and the Machine song).

+This is a gorgeous picspam by ms_pollygreen celebrating Sarah Walker, picking up on all the different/contradictory sides of her character. There's a wonderful tension between the regular girl next door persona Sarah has to play, the fact that whoever "Sarah Walker" really is, actually *is* that girl, but those parts of her got lost due to her background and her life as a spy, so it's both a role and the truth; and then the fact that she also is a kickass spy, but doesn't seem to see herself as extraordinary. I love how Yvonne Strahovski portrays her.

+Still pimping: halfamoon, a multifandom, multifanwork event celebrating female characters in fandom, that runs Feb 1-Feb 14. I cruised through the prompts at the Impromptuthon to see what I might try to write, and saw a bunch of things that made me go Eeeee. But in my personal opinion, there weren't enough prompts for the characters from Chuck. *koff* Wow, am I subtle or what?
